Role overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Salesforce QA Engineer with strong expertise in Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, UAT Support and Defect Validation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability and reliability of Salesforce applications by executing comprehensive test strategies, validating business requirements and collaborating closely with developers, business analysts and stakeholders. Candidates with ISTQB certification and Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce AI Associate will be preferred. Experience with test automation tools and Jira is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end Functional Testing of Salesforce applications.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Conduct Defect Validation and retesting.
  • Execute and maintain System Integration Testing (SIT).
  • Perform comprehensive Regression Testing for releases and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers and product teams to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios and test execution reports.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing.
  • Strong experience in Salesforce application testing.
  • Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • Functional Testing
    • SIT Testing
    • Regression Testing
    • UAT Support
    • Defect Management and Validation
    • Experience working with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or related modules).
    • Good understanding of Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules and business processes.
    • Experience using Jira for defect tracking and test management.
    • Knowledge of QA automation tools and frameworks (preferred).

Must have certifications:

Mandatory / Strongly Preferred
  • ISTQB Certified Tester Certification
Preferred Salesforce Certifications
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified AI Associate

Nice to have skills:

  • Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
