Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Product manager / Scrum Master with telecom domain experience to lead Agile delivery, release management and cross-functional execution across complex telecom and digital transformation programs.
The ideal candidate will drive Agile best practices, ensure delivery excellence, remove execution roadblocks and facilitate collaboration between Product, Engineering, QA, Business and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities:

1.Agile delivery leadership
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
  • Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum best practices.
  • Track sprint progress, velocity and delivery metrics.
  • Identify and remove impediments impacting delivery.
2.Jira and backlog management
  • Manage Jira projects, workflows and sprint boards.
  • Create and maintain Epics, Features, User Stories, Tasks and dependencies.
  • Ensure backlog readiness and prioritization in collaboration with Product Owners and Business Analysts.
  • Maintain delivery dashboards and reporting.
3.Release and deployment management
  • Coordinate release planning and deployment activities across teams.
  • Prepare release notes and deployment documentation.
  • Manage UAT, stakeholder sign-offs and production release processes.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between Development, QA, Operations and Business teams.
4.Stakeholder and cross-team coordination
  • Act as a central point of coordination across Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, Vendors and Business teams.
  • Drive effective communication and transparency on project status, risks and dependencies.
  • Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution across stakeholders.
5.Telecom platform knowledge
Develop sufficient understanding of telecom systems and operational workflows including:
  • CRM and Subscription Management platforms
  • XConnect ecosystem
  • Dealer Channels and Dealer Portal workflows
  • Recurly Billing platform
  • Avalara taxation processes
  • Verizon plans and operational workflows
  • Notifications and customer communication systems
  • Application workflows and customer journeys
6.Metrics and continuous improvement
  • Monitor sprint health, team velocity, release performance and delivery KPIs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
  • Generate and present project status reports and delivery metrics to stakeholders.

Required skills and qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or Delivery Lead.
  • Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence and release management processes.
  • Proven experience managing distributed cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in Telecom, MVNO, SaaS, or Subscription-based platforms.

Must have skills:

  • Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint execution and release management.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, backlog management and delivery tracking.
  • Telecom, MVNO, SaaS, or subscription platform experience with strong stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have skills:

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, etc.).
  • Experience working with telecom delivery programs.
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations and software development lifecycle.
  • Experience managing multi-team Agile delivery environments.
