Role overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Engineer - Business Analyst with strong expertise in both Salesforce and NetSuite ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, stakeholder management and solution design across Salesforce and NetSuite platforms, including integration initiatives between the two systems.

The candidate should possess a strong understanding of Sales, Service and Experience Cloud business processes, as well as financial and ERP processes within NetSuite. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, architects and delivery teams to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.

Key responsibilities:

1.Business analysis and requirements management
  • Lead requirement gathering workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews.
  • Analyze and document current-state and future-state business processes.
  • Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, process flows and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate backlog grooming, prioritization and requirement clarification sessions.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
2.Salesforce domain responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze requirements across Salesforce clouds, including:
    • Sales Cloud
    • Service Cloud
    • Experience Cloud
  • Work closely with business users to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Support solution design discussions with Salesforce architects and development teams.
  • Participate in UAT planning, execution and business sign-off activities.
3.NetSuite domain responsibilities
  • Gather and document business requirements related to NetSuite ERP processes
  • Understand and analyze workflows across:
    • Financial Management
    • Order-to-Cash (O2C)
    • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
    • Record-to-Report (R2R)
    • Customer and Vendor Management
  • Collaborate with NetSuite functional consultants and business stakeholders to define solutions.
4.Salesforce–NetSuite integration
  • Lead requirements gathering and process mapping for Salesforce–NetSuite integrations.
  • Document data flows, business rules, field mappings and integration requirements.
  • Work with technical teams to validate integration design and business outcomes.
  • Support testing and validation of integrated business processes.
5.Stakeholder management
  • Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Present requirements, solution options and project updates to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams and external clients.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and drive consensus on business priorities.

Required skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
Salesforce
  • Strong functional knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience gathering requirements for:
    • Sales Cloud
    • Service Cloud
    • Experience Cloud
  • Understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, reporting, workflows and automation.
NetSuite
  • Strong understanding of NetSuite ERP processes and modules.
  • Experience gathering requirements for finance and operational business processes.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite customization and reporting capabilities.
Integration experience
  • Proven experience in Salesforce–NetSuite integration projects.
  • Understanding of API-based integrations, middleware concepts and data synchronization processes.
  • Ability to document integration requirements and business workflows.
Business analysis
  • Extensive experience in:
    • Requirements elicitation
    • Process mapping
    • Gap analysis
    • Functional documentation
    • User story creation
    • UAT support

Must have skills:

  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes.
  • Knowledge of revenue management, billing, invoicing, procurement and financial reporting processes.
  • Experience working in enterprise transformation or digital transformation programs is preferred.

Good to have skills:

Salesforce certifications such as:
  • Salesforce Administrator
  • Business Analyst
  • Sales Cloud Consultant
  • Service Cloud Consultant
  • NetSuite Functional Consultant certification (preferred).
  • Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, etc.) is a plus.
