Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong telecom domain expertise to drive requirements analysis, functional solution design, stakeholder management and business process optimization across telecom and subscription management platforms.
The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, translating complex business requirements into scalable solutions while ensuring successful delivery of business initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
1.Requirements gathering and analysis
- Lead stakeholder workshops and requirement discovery sessions.
- Review and analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).
- Identify gaps, raise clarifications and drive requirement sign-offs.
- Define detailed acceptance criteria and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
2.Functional solution design
- Design functional solutions in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Create process flows, sequence diagrams, workflow diagrams and wireframes.
- Conduct solution walkthroughs with business stakeholders and development teams.
- Support telecom plan recommendations and product configuration activities.
3.Documentation and governance
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation in Confluence.
- Create user stories, business process documents, functional specifications and solution artifacts.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, design and delivered functionality.
4.Technical collaboration
- Participate in database design discussions and data modeling activities.
- Support query analysis and validation efforts.
- Utilize Postman for API testing and functional validation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on integrations and solution reviews.
5.Telecom domain expertise
- Develop and maintain strong knowledge of:
- XConnect ecosystem
- aXcess platform
- Dealer Channels and Dealer Portal workflows
- Recurly subscription and billing platform
- Avalara taxation workflows
- NetIP integrations
- XpertCare support processes
- Notification systems (Email, Push Notifications)
- Verizon plans, usage management and PDL processes
- Application workflows and Figma-based user journeys
6.Operational support
- Perform initial triage of support tickets and coordinate with technical teams.
- Generate monthly operational and business metrics.
- Support tax validation and billing verification processes.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- 7–10+ years of Business Analysis experience.
- Strong Telecom/MVNO domain expertise.
- Experience with CRM, Billing, Subscription Management, Provisioning and Order Management systems.
- Strong requirements gathering and functional design skills.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, SQL and Postman.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Need required US timings overlap in US morning time
Must have skills:
- Telecom/MVNO Domain Expertise – CRM, Billing, Subscription Management, Provisioning, Order Management.
- Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering – BRD/FRD, stakeholder workshops, user stories, acceptance criteria.
- Technical Skills – SQL, Postman, API validation, Jira, Confluence.
- Functional Solution Design – Process flows, workflow diagrams, wireframes, solution documentation.
Good to have skills:
- Experience with Recurly, Avalara, Verizon ecosystems and telecom operations.
- Exposure to API integrations and cloud-based platforms.
- Experience in Agile delivery environments.
